Your Maker Workspace

Our group unites creators of every background and talent who enjoy transforming textiles into deep connections.

    Join our midweek group to stitch for charity or start a new personal project.
Essentials
  • A portable sewing machine;
  • an ongoing quilting task or fresh fabric to begin; 
  • a standard sewing set containing pins, seam rippers, and needles; 
  • a rotary cutter with a compact mat if available; 
  • and matching project thread.

What to Bring

Here’s what to bring to feel comfy and ready at your first quilting circle.

Nice-to-Haves
  • Your favorite quilting tools (rulers, clips, specialty feet)
  • Small iron and pressing mat (if you like to press as you go)
  • A notebook and pen for tips and pattern ideas
Optional Donations
  • Clean cotton fabric suitable for quilts
  • Batting or backing pieces
  • Finished blocks or tops for community donation quilts
